MASALA DE KARELA

4 porciones

Kapha (para Pitta evitar Aji molido)

Ingredientes

6 mediano Karela

1 Cebolla roja

4 dietes de Ajo

1 cucharadita Jengibre fresco 1⁄4 cucharadita Hinojo

1⁄4 cucharadita Coriandro en polvo

1⁄4 cucharadita Ají molido 1⁄2 cucharadita Cúrcuma

Sal–a gusto 1 cucharadas Jugo de limón

Preparación

Lavar el Karela cortar en el medio y sacar todas las semillas luego cortarlo en tiras. Agregar un poco de sal y déjarlo(eso disminuye el sabor amargo un poco) Cortar la cebolla y ajo en julienne. Calentar una sartén y agregar una cuchara de aceite o ghee y añadir el ajo y jengibre luego agregar la cebolla hasta que se doren, agregar todas las especias, revolver por un minuto. Añadir el karela y cocinar a fuego lento revolviendo cada rato hasta que se vuelva tierno y cocido. Ingredients

6 medium Karela

1 red Onion

4 diets of Garlic

1 teaspoon Fresh ginger

1⁄4 teaspoon Fennel

1⁄4 teaspoon Coriander powder

1⁄4 teaspoon ground Chili pepper

1⁄2 teaspoon Turmeric

Salt - to taste

1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Preparation

Wash the Karela cut in the middle and take out all the seeds then cut it into strips. Add a little salt and leave it (that reduces the bitter taste a bit). Cut the onion and garlic into julienne. Heat a pan and add a spoon of oil or ghee and add the garlic and ginger then add the onion until golden brown, add all the spices, stir for a minute. Add the karela and cook over low heat, stirring every time until it becomes tender and cooked.
